How to register

Registration will be done through the Registration System, which can be accessed at the link below:

Registration fees

Registration deadlines

The registration timeline is as follows:

  • Early registration: open until 15 March 2026

    Full payment must be completed by this deadline in order to benefit from early registration.

  • Regular registration: open until 30 April 2026

  • Late registration: registrations submitted after 30 April 2026 will incur an additional fee of 1000 RON per team, per month.

The visa policy of Romania is the same as the rest of the Schengen Area.

Other EU members and territories of Schengen countries outside the Schengen Area (freedom of movement in the Schengen Area)
 
Visa not required for short stays in the Schengen Area, usually 90 days in any 180-day period (EU 2018/1806 Annex II)
 
Visa required to enter the Schengen Area, and to transit some Schengen countries in some cases (EU 2018/1806 Annex I)
 
Visa required to enter or transit any Schengen country (EC 810/2009 Annex IV)

For visa-exempt countries/territories

The list of countries/territories that do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, as well as specific conditions for each nationality, can be consulted here.

The ETIAS travel authorisation is not expected to be implemented before late 2026. For up-to-date information, consult this link.

For visa-required countries/territories

Applications for a visa can be submitted online and sent to the appropriate diplomatic mission on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. An application guide can be found here. Note that each applicant needs to submit their own visa application. Contact us for the required letters of invitation.

The current visa fee is 90€ for most countries/territories. For more details about exceptions, consult this link.
